The first Skidmouse introduced by Kloepp Brothers Engineering in 1984 in Slovenia, then part of Yugoslavia.
Named the Močna Miška it set the standard for tough rugged affordable mini loaders.
The Kloep brothers continued to develop their unique range of micro loaders under the Močna Miška brandname.
1996 the company was sold to Xydaq corp of America. The name was changed to Skidmouse and the focus would be on stand-on loaders, considered at the time (correctly) to be a blossoming market.
2003 Skidmouse was sold to Lillion Industries of China.
To this day Skidmouse adhere to the principles which made the Močna Miška so successful.
Designing and building ,solid, rugged, reliable, capable, easy to maintain, cheap to operate and affordable mini stand-on skid steers.
In 2024 Skidmouse has manufacturing facilities in Slovenia, and China.
